Yeah but tunes, especially MRL and Anti War Dub are considered "the best/biggest dubstep tunes ever" like wtf no. They're great, but certainly not the best, that's what happens when you get anthems in a genre.

A tune like Benga's Blood, not played that much, but I know Youngsta especially overrates this tune a lot, even though it sounds similar to his Skank tune on Big Apple.
It's all opinion though at the end of the day. I think Request Line is a contender for Skream's best and lives up to the hype while Anti War Dub and Night to me are vastly overrated.

And again, I agree with Yunx on this one. I think Blood is better than original Skank. But then my fav Benga is probably Walkin Bass so it's nothing to do with whether something is released or not.

Yeah big up Jesus for dying for our sins and netting us a public holiday in the process.

Also, hot cross buns.

also orson/version aren't really big names. shame tho

i'd say voodoo/omen remix is my favourite loefah record tbh

Yeah I like Blood from Benga, but it isn't the most amazing tune ever, I prefer some of Benga's tunes from around 07-08 like Urban Fox, Z, Pleasure, Roller, Addicts, E-Trips, Mixed Signals and a few others. I am a bit of a hypocrite and I do overrate 26 Basslines more than I should, but I am not a fan of the VIP version though. Another Benga track I like is "ammo" a VIP of "break it" essentially, and "break it" for me has become like "rottan" from Skream, as in it doesn't feel right when I listen to it, so I only listen to "ammo" and "rutten."

I don't think MRL is Skream's biggest tune, I prefer the Mala remix, I like "Hedd Banger" a lot, I like "Life In General" and "Minor." I also like the "0800 Dub" a lot, I like his Cape Fear track, Tune In, Herb, Rutten, Dutch Flowerz (Maybe his best tune imo) and a few others, but MRL is still better than most of his tracks, I don't agree with it being his biggest. I also like "Percression" that one is quite unorthodox.

I like the Anti War Dub a lot, but I still don't think it's the best track ever, Night I also like, but is very overrated imo.

I overrate Left Right Left a bit too much as well, but I was hoping Loefah would release that in 2006 after I heard it in the DMZ essential mix and on the stellar sessions Mala B2B Chef B2B Skream in 2006.

I also overrate Countdown or Lowdown by Coki, even though that is one of the most underrated Coki tracks ever imo, I was hoping that would've got a release years ago.

I also like Hijak, Old Rusko, 2562, Komonazmuk, D1, Kromestar, Silkie, Quest/Conquest, Cyrus, Cluekid and a few others.

Sorry if it's a bit long, peace out.

I don't mind Pathways and Da Wrath, they're not bad...I prefer Da Wrath Souljahz VIP so much more though, but the DMZ EP was all about Mawo Dub and Ugly for me. My favourite Loefah one from the Loefah EP is Life Dub - I like Loefah's EP more than the DMZ EP overall. Indian Dub sounds much better in a mix for some reason imo, even though I still think it's a big tune. Can't decide which tune I like more out of Jazz Lick and Jungle Infiltrator tbh.

Such a delight to see this thread started with this suggestion. Manhatten Blues has been one of my favorites since I heard it on Youngsta in '11. Amazing tune, definitely support this choice.

Definitely prefer the original to the Mala remix. But as I've heard the original dropped countless times on a system I prefer hearing Request Line VIP if I'm out.

That's true he's been putting out good stuff for a long time. Just think about Friday B4... Really heavy tune. And Version005 is going to be my favourite Version alongside white nights / rise 6
