How crucial is that win for Wengers job? If he lost that would it have been the final nail? Regardless of the performance a cup is a cup, in recent years Arsenal have been the opposite, played well but nothing to show for it.
Barca have gone to fucking pot this season.

Best match I've watched this year so far I think. Absolutely wonderful!!! Sterling's goal is a beauty.

obviously Hillsborough was horrible and deserves to be remembered etc. but you never hear anything about the Bradford fire or other disasters which are just as sickening.
ive done maybe 7 minutes silence at least in my life for it and not one for heysel, valley parade or ibrox disaster
hearing the commentators go on about how liverpool diserve to win etc.
e.g. martin tyler 'Liverpool fans have always been known for their sportsmanship'
then the empty seats at wembley when liverpool aren't playing
anyway yes hillsborough should be remembered etc. it was a tragedy but its all a bit over the top when you compare to other disasters.
the bbc are going to be sickening if liverpool win the league and martin tyler is a tnuc

Liverpool deserve to win it, they've not played the best football arguably but they've shown greatness with a manager who hasn't won the title before (neither has Pellegrini tbf) and a squad with a fraction of the quality of Man City's.

i think the reason its remembered so much is partly because 96 people died, but also because of the huge government cover up surrounding it.

yeah the cover up was disgusting. but the other disasters are pretty much forgotten

its kinda hard to be 5 points clear at the top and only be a fraction of the team in third...
