I fail to understand what your problem is.

It's sort of like when people are like "what is [subject]" to prove they have no knowledge when they can just google it in three seconds.
You refusing to press play when somebody does this strenuous work for you, in order to remain ignorant of the topic at hand.
I can't really think of a reason why somebody would do this, so i just i pen it down them trying to be alternative etc.

Ahh, ok I fully understand that.
Yes I agree that willful ignorance and confirmation bias is wrong and should be avoided..... in most circumstances. However, we are none of us perfect and bad music (what is imo 'bad') drives me to despair and in extreme cases (very extreme, very rare) can make me violent. For this reason I extend my unwillingness to listen to bad music to what is potentially bad music.
Yes, I could be missing out on some great tunes but the chance is slim.

If a wasp goes to sting me I will avoid the fuck out of it, even if there's a small chance it's sting will administer an awesome dose of morphine.

From the way people on here, people whose opinions I have come to respect, talk about this girl and Beiber it's highly doubtful that i'd enjoy their output. For that reason i'm happy to indulge in willful ignorance.
