There are odd goings on at Rinse atm. Gone are the days I could switch on at any point in the day and hear amazing new music. Of all the shows that they could potentially be rid of, Anti Social was 100% not one of them.
Strange. Out to G & Jay 5ive and the rest of the Anti Social crew. Onwards and upwards!!

I'm a long time pirate listener (*cough* years), and even though Rinse doesn't play exactly my taste in music, I'm a big fan, they're genuinely forward looking, and I have nothing bad to say about them. Trust me, what they've achieved since going legal is impressive...imagine that Kiss FM used to be a high quality pirate. They've kept it true. Cant look too hard at breakfast and drive time shows - they've gone down that pop route for those shows, but seem to have limited to there.
That said, like everyone else, for me the Anti-Social show was the big show, and the fact it was on a Saturday afternoon seemed to me to mean that Rinse HQ knew what a big show it was, and gave it its backing. I'd would love to have just a tiny bit of info as to why this has happened... it makes zero sense. At least move the show to a different slot...
If there really is no going back to Rinse all I can say is, I bet there are other stations in London that would jump at the chance to host you. Podcast is all well and good, but I agree with the poster who said this is the true sound of dubstep - it needs repping on the airwaves!
All power to the full crew, thanks for all the magic radio so far, and here's to the future.
On the face of it such a shit decision by RInse
, hope its not a sign of a slow collapse that all pirate-to-legal stations make in their own shitty time

If they are referring to me on the breakfast show the other week, I didn't play ANY of the music (barring 5 tunes on monday, and 5 on friday at 10am both times).
Breakfast show's music is all from the studio's cartwall system and is cued up and played by Tinea Taylor. Rinse management have meetings with a few of the daytime show producers to select breakfast friendly tracks and then load em in. While Rinse are sorting out a new line up to co-host breakfast with Tinea, they are inviting Rinse DJ's to CO-HOST the breakfast with her in the meantime. All we do is sit in the studio, have a chat about whatever topics they wish to bring up on the show, and generally sit in, introduce the tracks that are lined up and have a bit of banter on air, that's all. We have absolutely no say in what's being played, it's just for a laugh.
So big up whoever felt to post up that I played Tulisa's tune on my show. No I didn't. I was probably just present on a show that may have played the tune in the week. I'm pretty sure there was a preditah remix of a Tulisa tune played though, but I couldn't confirm that.

hope to hear a new anti-social podcast soon!!!! really sad what happened with rinse fm....I was so used to saturdays with ya guys
btw that show with silkie,quest, and swindle on christmas eve was large!

loool his excuse seems to be that he didn't press the play button. It was his show and he said what the track was. None of the radio 1 djs choose the tracks they play. Funny he's defending a comment on this forum on grimeforum

FFS no more antisocial, been downloading the podcast religously since the start of last summer, easily the best podcast around. Such a broad perfect selection of tunes, Jay 5ives skills are unreal and G Double perfect alongside hosting. The first 20mins of each session were proper boogie and words is my fav tune of the year. Big up all the Antisocial crew.
Rinse sort if the fuck out and get them back on radio asap!

Rinse don't even deserve to have Anti-Social back after pulling a stunt like that. Hoping they go onto bigger and better things, I'll be supporting them all the way.

Whoa whoa, I'm way late to this. Don't really listen to radio shows often, but I'm quite concerned with anything that concerns what is largely my favorite group of producers (Anti-Social). I really hope we see more from these guys and they continue to flourish in all their endeavors.
