for the record i wasn't being entirely serious with that post. you'd think people would get bored having the same pointless arguments with each other on an endless loop, but it seems to be a popular hobby with people on this forum these days.

Yeah the arguing is a bit pointless and is never settled as on forums most people act like the most opinionated c*nt in the world. i never got caught up too much in the main argument just said my bit then moved on startin other debates on the thread like the appleblim thing which caused controversy...oops lol

I find it hilarious that the same argument has been going on since the dawn of dance music. Progression v's Dancefloor. I know where I'd rather be.

Ive heard plenty of good drum and bass, best ive heard have been from the likes of ltj bukem, danny byrd, spor, london elektricity, high contrast, netsky, shy fx, drumsound and bassline smith, matrix and futurebound, d*minds, aphrodite, adam f...could go on

What I meant by posting that tune is; when fasten your seatbelts came out there was like a flamewar of endless hate both in the breakbeat community and amongs drum&bass talibans, seeing as the tune was a kind of bastard tune. Funny thing is, it didn't "kill" any genres or brought armageddon upon any scene... so what I mean is, dont get all upset if there comes tunes/sounds that you consider "stupid" (not saying pendulum is stupid). It's all good

Wow, what a dumb point. If you like d'n'b you can't like this song? People can't just like music on a tune-by-tune basis?

I don't like much of that sort of music, but I like that song because it's fun, does it matter if it's technically drum'n'bass or not? I wonder if Pendulum themselves having written some great drum and bass tunes hate that song?

and how someone can mention knowing d&b and leave out photek, goldie, fanu, seba, escher, boymerang etc is quite amusing...
