Quite often keylock can make the tune being played sound a tad warped, I found that when I was using Traktor the keylock would often fuck the actual sound quality and would make rhythmic patterns sound as if they're ever so slightly off the beat which, being a human-metronome, is not something I can deal with

most pitchlocking software sounds like absoloute shite when it comes to bass.

Listen to stuff with big booming 808 bass and you'll see what I mean. Gets this uneven juttering warped thing going on

Yeah that's exactly it, I'd rather be slightly out key than have all the tunes sounded shitty and warped

didn't even know you could do that in serato, and probably still never will.

i use absolute mode tho so i guess that wouldn't really work anyways

pretty sure you can do it in serato, my experience of it is only through using a mates sl3 though

defs can in traktor, doesn't sound amazing for huge jumps but for 2/3% it's alright

Buy your tunes from the cool labels and they might send you some if you ask.

never expierenced that or noticed.

i did find the serato sl1 soundcard really really pony. the ni audio 8 is incredible though! wavs can sound shit hot and have a lot more clarity compared to vinyl.

ive been using the pitchlock in serato for the past week or so (only just noticed it myself) and its shit for ANYTHING that needs to be pitched more than 3-4%

Just had the 2nd person in 3 years comment on the music I had playing in my office.

First was a year so so ago and it was dubstep mix playing
"does that not make your head hurt? I couldnt listen to that"
Todays was from another Nurse:
"Oh I wish I could listen to House music all day"
I was abit shocked one for somone asking about it and two for knowing what it was.

When I started chatting to her it went abit wonky, asked her who she likes house music wise ,she said she didnt really know and just said the club in town has djs that play it.

Decaf espresso, wtf is that about??!
