I thought the cinematography (good simple angles/framing) and the dialogue in the first half were great (if you like a lot of talking), but every time an action scene pops up it kinda takes a dive. Just my opinion though.

watched Thief, loved it.
late 70s vibe, soundtrack by Tangerine Dream, director of Drive said Thief was a big influence. i see a lot of similarities between the stories for this two movies (although though they're based on two different books), but the atmosphere and setting in Thief is quite different.

was really good - didnt help my fear of flying particularly, but was disappointed with the last 20 minutes or so. But enjoyable nevertheless
