He had 2 +4 and I had 2 +4.
He put down the first one, me 2nd, him 3rd and me ending the +4.

=16

Only started playing Uno this weekend so might need to read the rules in terms of multiplying like that

It works the same with missing turns, switching direction, etc.
If you have a multiplier and your opponent plays the same card, you can counter his multiplier with your own card.
The cards just add up.

I often save my multipliers for just that.

I did not know this, thought I wasn't being let in on all the rules.

Didn't even get told you had to say Uno when you were down to one card

been there, not cool. if you start the chain of +4 in a 4 player game it can end very badly for you as well.

Uno has got to be the biggest waste of a deck of cards.
