the fact that we're having this meeting on the last day before a holiday weekend is just bureaucracy at its best. They get 5 stamps from me before I shred the docs and recycle them for new docs.

Be prepared for excitement...

I just went to print a couple of forms off. Walked to the printer to collect them, as I approached I could see various pieces of paper in the out tray, my heart rate quickened in anticipation of holding those A4 white sheets still warm from the printer yet something still felt amiss. I stood next to the machine, my face faintly illuminated by a small flashing orange light on the printer, my trembling hands reached out to the small stack of face down papers. Lifting them up my eyes narrowed as I scanned the dark print, standing so confident, so proud in its bold contrast to the pale white paper. One page, two pages, three pages, what was this, this was not mine. I flicked to the last page, my heart drowning in disappointed as I realised my papers were not among them. Looking at the printer my eyes connected with the small blue display it was then that the ugly horror was unveiled before me. Oh what a fool I had been. The printer was out of paper, so I stuck some more in got my print outs and walked back to my desk.
