 yeah definite wtf ending thats for sure.

i found the family drama mixed in with straight up brutality really odd. i'm probably just too used to strict genre defined storytelling.

i'm sat on the fence with the film really. i don't think i would recommend this to anyone though purely because of the shock content.

yeah the confusing part of it really wound me up, didn't much like the pace of it either but that could be my attention span.

i wasn't sure if it was confusing because of artistic indulgence or if it was confusing as an attempt to appear artistically indulgent with no real substance.

was alright.

yea as i said, a weird mix of slice of life and hitman drama

oddball

i'd actually watch it again just to see i f could find something else in it, as it is i enjoyed it still, not enough to cal it brilliant but im fully prepared to admit maybe i didn't 'get' it

Haha, I love Event Horizon. One of the only films that's ever really scared me. I still watch it sometimes, a classic imo. Also, check out the game Dead Space if you haven't. It's pretty much the Event Horizon game we never had.

Haha, I was shouting "DEAD SPACE! DEAD SPACE!" at the screen when I saw the core on the ship :h:

Prometheus. Sadly I give it a "C-". Could have been a great movie, but a lot of smallish things really brought it down.

This is the greatest stoner movie of all time. I mean, how can you not want to watch it after reading the imdb description?
A comedy that follows two high school students -- one overachiever struggling to write his valedictorian speech, the other a senior now going on his 15th year of school.

Saw this on Netflix (surprisingly good selection, you have to search for it though) last night, fucking great film. Dialogue is up there with the best, lead character couldn't be more likeable, just watch it.

Ignore the trailer really, horrible.

This is one of the things that really bugs me about Netflix, can only watch certain things if you know they're on there and search for them. Wish they would just list everything in the library

the way the whole movie disintegrates after the hammer scene is amazing, it's like ripples sent through the rest of the film where the plot, the camera style, the characters all just become fucked.

and the dinner scenes are fucking amazing, the script is top notch, the way that tension builds and drops, one minute their smashing each other over the head the next they are reminiscing about the good old times together and it all feels natural, never contrived.

I was slightly disappointed with the very end, probably because I just watched A Serbian Movie not long before. i am, however, perfectly happy to not have a clue what the fuck was going on a lot of the time, made the atmosphere ridiculously harsh like I couldn't breathe or something.

The director's first movie Down Terrace is great too.

'I jut want to say thank you, I'm glad to have met you'

oh god. this sucked to sit through, but im kindve glad I did.

theres no dialogue.

lots of raping, lengthy suicide, and pleasant scene of a woman fingering her bush with a dead guys cum on her finger in order to get pregnant.

its shot in the most ridiculously contrasted black & white.

the only sound heard throughout is a hard to describe gurgling/cricket noise

deeply disturbed me
