Never has there been a man who owned clubs in the two of the biggest leagues in the world that is less interested in sports.

having a more interested owner would be good, but you see so many clubs go in the shitter from getting bad owners these days...

Much as I love Shaw, he does only have 45mins of international time.

Also think Oxade and Wilshire are a bit suspect, given their injuries this season.

I think Flanagan makes the stanby list because he covers left and right side being predominantly a right back before this season. I don't think he's good enough fwiw. That defence itself doesn't look great.

yeah the defence is fucking terrible. weve got no proper holding midfielders really either, no bite or stability apart from maybe gerrard, but thats not really enough

It's a team fully prepared to finish 3rd to Uruguay and Italy in the group stage.

worst defence ever (no melanin)

two out of the four strikers are just not up to this level.

midfield has the same issues as always and not bringing either carrick or barry is just a bit silly really

England has a very good team imo, the defense is the weak point but jagielka and cahill are both pretty solid central defenders. i think you guys are going to get a surprise with england performance.
DJoe wrote:how has jon flanagan made the stand by list and not gibbs?
because he is much better than gibbs

i dont think he is better
if flanagan is better than gibbs only marginally so
and surely gibbs makes up for that with 3 years experience playing in the champions league up against the best players in the world and hes has 3 caps for england whilst flanagan has none and loads more playing with loads of the england team in the u21s

tbh im happy hes not going. i just feel hes underated

i couldnt care less about england in the world cup. i dislike most of the players and i feel no affiliation to the country

i must be one of the few ppl out of my mates who usually supports the team playing england rather than england lol

that has absolutely no relevance, its just a game, thats the good thing of football that you don't have to question why do you support your team
