Just bought The Roots of El-B on vinyl and a hip hop record (BIG PUN Capital Punishment.)

Really trying to get into collecting some jungle records, stuff like Foul Play, Omni Trio, if anybody knows a good spot online for that.

The only problem with disco gees is that people are REALLY starting to take the piss with P&P costs. I know from selling stuff on there, it costs me dead on £3 to ship a 12" with 2 cardboard stiffeners now and for each 12" added, it's about 80/90p, but some man are charging £4.50 for 1 record now. Jokes.

All you man only like jungle since Ellipsis anyway... :6:

you do realize that my initial statement on ellipsis was no that serious after all, do you?

discogs can be a pain, sellers that overcharge on each added recorded usually put me off buying anything from them (esp. if you're outside the sellers country --> uk)

I know lol, just winding everyone up. :D

Yeah, sometimes puts me off as well, order two records that cost like, £3 between them, and they want something like £6 shipping. It's a joke, I know how much shipping costs, I'm not stupid. Rip off bastards man, which is annoying because I identified a fat list of old plates that I wanna buy that I know I'm gonna have to get off there.

You do know that shipping records is way more expensive in other countries, right?
I get charged what equals to 7 gbp to send one 180 gram record to the uk. And thats without insurance and a box to send it in.

Should've specified, I'm talking UK sellers selling to UK buyers. Of course I know.

For reference, anyone buying from UK sellers on discogs, shipping to europe for one 12" is about £5.80 and shipping to North America is about £7.

Yeah this is what annoys me.
Oh look Mark Pritchard- ?/hollogram is £5.. oh wait he wants 10 euro for postage :?

I have to hunt for sellers with atleast two things, or I will pay £2-4 more for the records from one guy as it makes it cheaper on postage than buying individually.

Don't get how people can be charging £60+ for a record with no sales history. How do they just arbitrarily decide its value is £60? If it goes for anywhere near that, I'll sell my copy for real!

People like to test the waters at first but I'm in the same boat as you, I would happily sell my copy for that amount.
Sucks you didn't get the redeye payment issues sorted in time, I tried about 5 times before it finally went through.
