Some really nice tracks here!

I've just upped one by Versa & Rowl called 'Warewolf'. This track has a lovely snappy snare & a very tasteful bass wobble that gives it some serious swing!

After listening to the Youngsta show this week I just had to get on the decks, as a self taught (read: mediocre) DJ I'd like to think I picked up a few tricks from listening to Youngsta since 2006, thought they don't always materialize in practice. Now I know why SP's track aren't as common as they should be even though they're absolute rollers, the higher BPM and continuous bass is hard to get on with at times. Also, I'm having trouble figuring out when/how much bass to take off when going from 148 to 140 on the eq and shifting the cross fader (in/out of Unidentified) anyone willing to have a listen and share their insight? I'm up for the challenge, and I want to improve; I just need practice and the right equipment, both of which I currently lack. So, anyhow this is it. I'll upload the link later today.

Deep mix 2 (AKA Bitchy neighbor mix  )

SP:MC & Joker D - Future
SP:MC Joker D - Taiko Dub
SP:MC - Trust Nobody
SP:MC & Joker D - Bad Dreams
SP:MC & Youngsta - Unidentified
Kryptic Minds - Dub Marine remix
Kryptic Minds & Youngsta - Surge
Sleeper - Submerged
Kryptic Minds - Dissolved
Kryptic Minds - Badman
Goth Trad - Sunbeam
VIVEK - Motherland
Kryptic Minds - Stepping Stone

I think theres only two of sp's tracks that are considerably above 140 (future/trust nobody) and even then only about 5 bpm. Not sure what you're talking about when you say how much bass to take off either...anyway nice tracklist

Are all 145-148:

SP:MC & Joker D - Future
SP:MC Joker D - Taiko Dub
SP:MC - Trust Nobody
SP:MC & Joker D - Bad Dreams

You'll have to see, I can't explain it in words so well. I try to remove the low end (Bass) on the EQ dial to match with the crossfader shift. Its really apparent when you listen to it that it needs refinement.

I sort of see what you're saying.

Do you not bring the levels of the 2 tracks to roughly where you want them, then cut the bass entirely from one and bring in the bass in the other track simultaneously?

I'll be sure to try and help more once the link is up though :D

you think using the crossfader is better than leaving it in the middle?

i only use it to cut between two tunes quickly and back and forth more smoothly than using the channels

At my current skill level, yeah. It helps transition the tracks from one to another, and I was hoping someone one would catch this on their own but I'll say it now, I like line up the Samples in the tracks so as to present it as seamlessly as possible--kind of like building up the tension on a rubber band without tearing it to fit around an object that exceeds its potential elastic tolerance, this of course doesn't always yield favorable results due to lack of skill/practice/equipment. (Not sure if that makes sense to anyone but me, but its the only analogy I can think of.) For example without that I think my mixing sounds off, the beat matching on dub marine from unidentified is on point, but its sounds bad to me because the samples/outro didn't complement each other due to a mistake/delay I made in searching for it. As where Dub Marine into Surge sound complementary.

Mixing into Trust Nobody into Bad dreams into Unidentified is the best example of still trying to get around compensating, modulating for bpm changes; its what I was on about, it goes from 148-145-140. How do I modulate the low dial for the EQ/bass so that it doesn't sound so pronounced? The beat matching is close, isn't?

Anyone want to get on the decks and try those 3 and record it?

Here it is. I welcome all criticisms and feedback, fellas.

Err... thanks anyway.

Edit: On Second thought send them via PM, this thread is for highlighting upcoming producers/tracks and mixes only, right? This is becoming an attention whore tangent if I take up anymore space, plus that way it can go into greater detail without diverting this any further.

Sorry about that, chaps.
