Hyperdub Records
You can buy the new burial ep from our webshop at http://www.hyperdub.net/ now, along with the rest of our Katalog - you'll have to wait for the vinyl but we thought you shouldn't have to wait any longer for the digital. Thanks.

the very last part of kindred sounds amazing.

drums on loner could'nt be worse... for a burial tune... I don't get the trance vibe.

again the 2 last parts of ashtray wasp sound nice.

won't spend money on the vinyl.

Is anyone else just sent back to the main 'Releases' page when they try to buy the mp3 or WAV files? Must be a bandwidth issue?

Special tune...

The whole thing is really, really growing on me. The more I listen to it the better it gets...

I'm really feeling it, the disjointedness of Ashtray Wasp I'm a bit unsure of but it's all there musically, better than Street Halo EP imo

Wondering if 'Kindred' and 'Ashtray Wasp' are examples of the segments Kode9 described on the Hyperdub showcase on Benji B's show a few years ago.

He said how Burial would make 20 minute segments, he'd go through picking the ones he liked and Burial would go off and make them into tracks.

It'd make sense if these were chunks of those sort of segments rather than individual tunes cut out and developed.

Ashtray Wasp sounds like a promo for a new album

Honestly, every track is astoundingly beautiful. Ranks up there with some of his best stuff. Ashtray Wasp is such a euphoric and anxious song at the same time. The way Kindred picks up at the end is also such a nice reward. And I guess Loner is the hardkore tune Burial's anted to make for a while. Different vibe but still so emotional and specifically made to have you react in a way beyond just dancing. I dunno man, very few do it like Burial.

I thought with Ashtray Wasp it was ore Burial doing the experimental letting loose thing we saw with the Massive Attack release. I feel like shit like that is just going to help solidify him as one of the most important musicians of our generation. He's painting a triptych and not just a single portrait, you know what I mean?

Ashtray Wasp is deeeeep. I like the other tunes aswell, but I think that they're still gonna grow on me. I love all 3 of them, but apart from Ashtray Wasp I think they're just very good tunes but not as special as what you'd expect from Burial

Hey does anyone know when it's going to get released on Juno Download, Beatport, or iTunes (those are the sites I generally use for buying music)?
