Checked yours out, didn't know newgrounds uploaded music let alone with badger badger as the background, best mascot for dubstep if eve I saw one. It's sounding cool, atmospheric build up some heavy bass, really dark

Mixing of the sub was perfect for my taste, I was thinking of maybe you should build up the second lead abit sooner, as what you've got from 0:55 to 1:50 is just plain the same patterns all over and over again (I think). It sounds good, though maybe just a bit too long. Once the second lead kicks in, the song is nearly done in my eyes really

@ Lowpass-yeah I did listen, sorry, my reply must have timed out or something, I really love the subs and the piano parts, all very tasteful, my only constructive criticism would be that it really doesn't grab me too much, needs just a touch of soul or even a time change I think would be great, around the 3:12 mark or so, I forget exactly, would be a great place for a rhythm drop or drum change-up. All in all I think it's a great tune. After peeping your soundcloud I do hope that you continue making intelligent music as I personally do enjoy music that makes me think as well as feel.

Broke Island and the tune you're after right now. Just my opinion, I get tired of listening to club-rockin wobble shit personally. Don't get me wrong a well done wobble is disgusting and I do enjoy hard bangin tunes, this is dubstep after all. However, I prefer deeper, more thoughtful drops and tunes with their own unique style and rhythmic variations that are out of the ordinary. Things that don't sound like presets from Massive etc.

Well that's what I prefer aswell when listening to dubstep, the deep basses and original leads that get you going and settle a mood, but at a real dubstep rave, I still prefer the mind wacking dark wobble basses ^^

So I made a song, just by reading things on this forum, I also stole a vocal out of the DSF for this track I hope that ain't a big deal.

It's my first Dubstep track, or maybe it isn't even close to it, but I made what I could.

@njmamimars-man that vocal sample is so noisy! It just comes in way too loud and gets all in your face. The whole track is too loud. Nothing should be over 0db, and this joint really is painful to listen too. A little more reverb on the whole tune would be nice, something to warm it all up a bit. Your drums sound decent, but sort of lost in the mix of the guy screaming and that irritating wobble, just my opinion, not trying to come off a prick, but this is your first song so you should have lots of room to grow. I would suggest starting your mix out a lot lower and getting better volume out of your samples first then bringing up the volume on the master, see the gain structure thread for more help on that. Also, I like a bit more of an intro on tunes, you don't have to kill the club in your first 8 bars! Hopefully this helps. Great effort on what you have done so far, keep up the hard work.

hi all, this is just a start of a tune, not sure where to go with it next so any suggestions/comments/feedback is much appreciated ... you'll see that the drums are just lifted from the purephase back with a bit of extra processing, i intend on putting together my own drums for it but just wanted to have a template to get the track started.

your tune is sounding really good so far, but the thing that I immediately noticed first is that your bassline is too jagged. it doesn't flow well with the rest of the track, maybe you were going for that but to me, it sticks out like a sore thumb and takes away from everything else that is going on in the song.

been working on this tune with the 'song of storms' melody from zelda practically the second song i've actually done properly so nothing too special imo..

need some feedback though not sure bout the intro and the congas in the middle part.. i definitely need some more percussion but i think the congas aren't really working for this particular style of song.
arrangement, mixdown and so on isnt final at all yet (oh and no sub in it yet).. just the general idea of the song.
any general feedback is welcome, just dont be too hard on me (:

sounds good, though the electric guitar like lead isn't too fitting in the whole song. the flow is good , I like ^^

Hmm well yeah you shouldn't really mix zelda songs since they already are perfect, awesome, and stuff like that ^^ but good attempt, the drums need some working , it's like you only hear kicks & snares.
