im quite new to producing, this may be a really simple bass, or already on the forum i wouldnt know what to search for if it was, but anyway
i use fruity loops 9 as my software , mainly using, massive & sytrus as my vsts, i can get any other if needed for this though,
i was just browsing, looking at tunes an i came across this monster by dubcrookz http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m1jyQBYDMGo&feature=fvst
and the main bass, besised the yoii, is a growlyy type muffle style bass, ive fallen in love with it, and would love to know how to make a similar bass ? tips for fruiy loops only please, thank you

i already commented on your tutorial but i wanna see how you achieved the datsik sounding synths on es2. also for scary monters and sprites one way to get this bass is to put the synth through a vocoder and get someone who does those death growls or whatever in metal and stuff and put that in the vocoder and youll get a similar bass
Hey guys, two quick questions, just wondering if anyone can help me get a similar style wobble that professor green has in monsters, its weak and shitty but ah well. also, anyone know what deadmau5 uses for his dubstep basses, not for plagiarism, just curiosity.

there are a number of interview with joel and he thoroughly explains what type of computers, DAW and plug-in's he uses.
and i searched a bit, but can anyone explain to me how to make the 'whoosh' sound, as well as the decelerating ripple sounds thing (not sure how to explain it. i cant quite figure it out.
