Can someone tell me why Kroos is almost 'certain' to go to UTD?

Swear he's a big man @ Bayern (51 total appearances this season), correct me if i'm wrong i don't follow Bundesliga that much but thats a big step down too.

Van Gaal was at Bayern when he was coming through the youth, probably gave him his first start. Maybe Bayern aren't willing to pay him what he wants.

Could be a combination of things. Plus if you see last season as just a blip for United they aren't as unattractive as they may seem.. still one of the biggest clubs in the world in the most famous league.

yeah i cant see that happening i think its just gassed up utd fans. i think they could have serious trouble attracting a big signin this year without cl. the only thing going for them is just how big a club they are but competition for the top 4 in the pl is so big now i dont even know when theyll get back in

Yeah I'd still be surprised if he went considering they have no European football. Apparently Van Gaal has £150m to spend, if this takes out a massive chunk hes basically just doing a Moyes bringing in Fellaini and Mata. Needs to spend shrewdly imo, they have a seriously weak squad and need to strengthen in almost every area.. shelling out on a couple big money players who could flop isn't going to do much for their weak squad.

hopefully he'll just spend it like tottenham did. if they got cl year before last they could have got some quality players with the bale money. erickson is decent but the rest of the players they got were a waste.

the reason for kroos maybe leaving is just because they have so much upcomming talent in the midfield in bayern and that he is too expensive to use as just an alternative

the reason he has played as much as he has, is mainly because martinez has underperformed, thiago and schweinsteiger has been injured etc
+muller and lahm becomming central midfielders under Peps direction.

but he's great - not far away from sneijder in ability - who united have always wanted on their team. But imo they should just get kagawa and mata to play up to their promise because they are worldclass players in comparison imo .

personally I see kagawa as the most dissapointing case of not living up to a promise ever apart from maybe robinho ?

Really hope Ashley Cole goes abroad instead of United or Liverpool. Especially not Liverpool.

I'm not entirely sure if the United fans on my newsfeed haven't been at the slightly dodgy prawn sandwiches again, some of this stuff just seems windup.
