they've been playing a festival recording for the past few days on Rinsefm...

just after they play the Roska set, theres 2 Mc's going b2b.... and one of them spits that "snap back like gator" bar.

i SWEAR its monkstar, but he doesnt do music anymore, so why would he be mcing a rave?

the only thing i understood from this was rinse fm....which i listen to a grand total or 3 times

ok, so Rinse fm (the station) have been playing a recording from a rinse party everynight (3am-9am).

during that recording, i heard one of the mcs spit a particular bar, one that was written by monkstar (original member of newham generals)

all im trying to do is figure out whether its actually monkstar or not, because he left grime ALONG time ago & noones heard anything from him since.

i guess you could say he's one of the first that applied the southern hiphop style to a bass music kind of thing... but trap, as in that specific style of southern of hiphop, has existed for more than a decade
