Hope you can see that nwj. Easily the most amazing piece of music I've ever encountered, let alone made. I'm flabbergasted that it came out of me. I sent a rough draft to Bonobo earlier last week and he asked me for some pointers. I would have posted it on Saturday but I had to wait to see if it was okay with a few labels that wanna sign it.
The sc widget leaves a slightly larger hole.

so, should we pm you yesterday's tune? the tunes we posted yesterday, the tunes you haven't given feedback for yet, should we pm them to you as well? as in right now, should we pm them to you? or is this effective beginning next week?

Yes, find the one Bud tune that I haven't given feedback for. Gold star if you can find it for me.

noways: deeep and DANK bruv. maybe sidechain that main background atmosphere sound? could get the whole thing bouncing a bit more y'know
dfault: this needs some work dude, atm it sounds like a lot of stuff thats already out there, especially in light of that pretty recent dungeon movement. progression is one way you could do this. for instance, the pads never change, when they easily could. a progressive yet simple melody on those coupled with some more modulation on the bass could in itself make this a lot more interesting. also maybe mess with vocal chops more, not like 2step chops but extra sounds like whispers or breathing or something; could add more to a tune of this vibe
demain: vibe is spot on mayte. guitar work gives it that extra touch, makes it special. could send this to a rapper, or if instrumental do a little thing on the synth that compliments the guitar leads, have the two playing off each other even more
second tune is pretty much there already! maybe mess with the percussion more, things like that shaker are just constant through the whole thing, could use some variation. DFAULT, see how this guy brought in that extra pad on a slight melodic variation in the second half? thats what im talking about
bud: first tune aint comin up
second tune is trademark bud heheh, raw synths/fun vocals combo proves to be a solid method yet again. tbh i dont have anything to criticise, its there already imo. gettin me fayded yo
with the third tune, i'd say mess with the percussion more. too many of us fall into this problem of looping the same thing (guilty of it myself), and things like those hats could really do with variation. you could get it to half the rhythm here and there, really get it groovin and then bring it back to the original rhythm. those vocals work nicely
fourth tune is on an almost Om Unit vibe, really feeling this. those stabs could be a bit dryer/hit a bit harder, if you know what i mean. also, with this one i'd say the vocals could be worked into something more interesting, whats there in the tune right now sounds a bit too familiar. you could fill up that break a bit more too.
we dont wanna lose u now m8
mason: yeh i second what noways said on this, try swapping melodies for the sine and the guitar, see what happens dude. you could also get the drums to be a bit more lively; upping the tempo slightly could do the trick, or maybe getting a bit more creative with those hats and playing them in on the offbeat, y'know. its good to see some acoustics in here though, big ups

I'm really happy with the TUNA!
I wish we saw something from default last week.
And Fragments, what happened there? Do we need to stand outside his window at night, just humming, driving him mad until he returns?

but you said i would be required to get a tuna tattoo if i participated for 4 weeks in a row and i dont want to get a tuna tattoo
will deffo submit something this weekend tho
also what's with the old testament vibes in the naming of your tunes lately ? also at the risk of repeating myself your stuff sounds increasingly like john carpenter making hip hop (this is a compliment)

Like really

as I'm taking a shit here in this bathroom.
I guess it is like John Carpenter making hip hop.
I just like big beats and synths! What are you going to do?
Re the Torah, I've recently been figuring things out that I've been wondering about, pursuing in various degrees of casualness, my whole life.
I've had some transcendental experiences, and they are making sense in a larger framework.
You can get the tattoo in invisible ink. BUT THE MARK WILL BE UPON YOU.

many dsf´s keep there sndclds a secret lol) but yeah you wanna move away from dubstep overall or just mix it up
dunno really been making mostly hip hop since i got a turntable as it's so much less stressful not having to bother too much with sound design. Been meaning to start making more dubstep type stuff with samples but haven't got round to it haa. Next weeks will be more dubsteppy probably

Either way buddy!
Sampling, imo, was a part of dubstep from the beginning!
