Yeah that's cause his wife wants to move back to France. No offense but the French league is jokes. Hazard might as well stop playing football if he going to play against lesser opposition on regular basis. I cant see us selling him in this window unless we get offered serious cash+ Cavani/Lavezzi.

Granted that the French league is jokes - even though I'd say the main issue is it's boring, which is an alltogether different case. But yeah, in a nutshell I only watch PSG matches in the French league, other than that it's CL/PL and the occasional La Liga match. And international matches. Problem with the French League is it's increasingly becoming like in Spain and Germany where every year you know there's only one to say three teams who could potentially win it, so not many surprises beforehand.

But your comment on Hazard might as well stop playing football well... You could argue it's the same for Bayern players then.

I'll sell you Lavezzi for whatever price as long as we get Hazard tbh  Cavani though? Forget about it. You're gonna sign Costa anyway.

Sure, they could do that if their plan in life is to commit suicide after a couple of weeks living there

i swear the french league has got more interesting in the last 5 years with lille, marseille, psg and now monaco being about. before wasnt it just lyon winning every year. dont pay attention really so im probably chatting breeze

Lyon won it 7 or 8 years in a row not too long ago, back when they had Juninho

Yeah the Northern Coast is nice, my parents have a house in Hardelot which is between Boulogne and Le Touquet, went there on holiday as far as I can remember. But Calais is really really creepy, you don't want to live there trust me!!!

Well nowadays in Ligue 1 it's all about the mighty PSG, fortunately it seems we'll have at least a decent opponent with Monaco in the next few years, other clubs are miles away really. There's Marseille/Lille/Lyon trying to do something decent with a good budget (on the French scale obviously), but they're always into ups and downs. Marseille has had the most terrible season this year - as a PSG fan I was delighted about that I must admit    - BUT they've signed Marcelo Bielsa as a new coach and the former one who was also sports director, José Anigo, who really was the club's plague for the past few years, is finally marching on so they could be interesting to watch next year.

Apart from that well, same as in other Leagues - shit teams, but as stated before, there's the added "bonus" of an incredibly defensive culture amongst their coaches, so you know the probability of a match ending 0-0 between shit clubs is like, really really high :( Bit of a shame tbh 'cause every now and then you have a small team playing some nice offensive game and then you start to wonder "why can't the others at least try to do the same..." I swear, the French League has become the new Calcio :u:

One of the best matches I watched this season was sochaux (relegated) against psg. They just have a certain offensive and very technical style that is great to watch imo. Lot's of really showy players but not so much diving.

Yeah that is a poor tendency, not my experience but I only get to watch a few matches tbh.

That guy Aron Johansson who now plays for the us, keep and eye on him
-he's pretty good despite playing for the little shit club in my city for years.
Yeah I'm hoping he starts up front instead of Jozy, but he won't cuz he lacks international experience. Just kinda worried he'll turn out like Jozy did in terms of stepping up to a better league.

So David Luiz is officially confirmed. They didn't mention the amount but apparently it would be for 50m€... Wtf :corntard:

I'm still pretty sure there's more to this deal. Wouldn't be surprised if they announced they signed Hazard later on.

Also, it looks like they set up the deal very early on so the contract gets signed at the beginning of the French or English transfer window, that is on the 10th of June. And this is where it starts to get interesting: FFP sanctions take effect on the beginning of the 14-15 season, which is... on the 30th of June :6: so it wouldn't account for the new season. Clever eh :D

So much for Platini!!! The Qataris basically don't give a fuck about FFP.
