Yep! Defo had to cut back. Saw a piece I was interested by the other day, single 12" with 2 tracks, £10.99. Too much for me!

Zed Bias album is £25! That Doris Duke re-release is one 12", £19.
I've not really brought anything in ages so don't mind too much.. still an arse rape.

Yeah I saw man! Just IMO, but if it's an album, stick to 2 plates. If it's a thing for DJing, just release em as singles.

Yeah I agree, I guess £25 aint too bad for 4 12".. compared to Mala In Cuba and the Think & Change boxsets it ain't bad anyway.

Yep I've switched to digital for new releases now because of this, I knew the day would come. Looks like a tenner will be the standard price for a 12" soon... fuck that, especially when you can buy the same release for around £2.50 if you buy the FLACs instead

I reckon it'll be more than that but limited pressings.. the more and more people are forced away from vinyl due to the prices rising will leave labels either not pressing to vinyl anymore or doing 'limited one time pressings' of like 300 at around £12-15 per 12".
Or more labels will follow in the footsteps of Be-1ne and start doing Kickstarters for releases.

Yep keep the costs down by cutting out the distributor. I think £12 per record is my cut off point unless it's something VERY special.

My mate picked up a LIES repress I think, went to the counter and it was £13 for two tracks! fuck!
