A lot pissed me of today, especially studying & the lack of concentration.
One thing made me happy though, recorded my first mix. Did it quick & without preparation, which isn't a good thing but yeah fuck that.

Also out to the crappy pitchfader and leaking crossfader crew.

Just read Blackdown's latest post re The XX + Gil Scott Heron.
I am so busy these days with work and being an adult in the "real world", so I am late with many news.
Checked out the tracks online and I can't wait for it to come out. I love that man.

Getting smashed during a set is cool too, but can be waste towards the end.

I remember something from my first gig; I was smoking a spliff(s) behind the decks, and for no reason I just looked to my right. 2 meters away from me were standing 3-4 cops, with bullet free vests etc. SHIT.
Ah well, didn't stop me from playing. And they left few minutes after that.

Yeah i once managed to do about 8 pints before a set though.........ended up ejecting the CDJ that was playing....i now no longer get drunk before a set. I generally start drinking kinda at the start of it.....so have managed 2 or 3 by the end.

And yeah Tenerife can be cool with a bunch of mates. But i think Egypt is just a step in class up.................no offence to anybody from Tenerife. :t:

Egypt can be good, but it all depends on where you go.

If you want to have a quiet holiday, in a beautiful setting, go to El Gouna.
If you want to have a quiet holiday, and don't want to leave your hotel, Marsa Alam.
If you want to go out at night, I think you better go to Sharm El Sheikh.

It's been a while since I've been in Hurghada, I reckon you can to a lot of places at night for going out. But that place was/is filthy and I wouldn't trust much people there.
Also I recommend the three corners hotels.

Was mixing Kromestar - Trust into The Aliens - Xterminate. ''Trust'' has a film quote or something that goes like ''i must ask you to do one thing...''

I realized i fucked up the mix when Xterminate 2nd drop launched on before Trust even dropped....

But it was nice to hear ''I must ask you to do one thing...'' ''What's that, sir?'' ''EXTERMINATE ALL HUMANS''
