Rockin' a S5000 in my studio. They're nice.

I've heard good things about the Pro VLA II. At least in Tape Op...
thats the original
gonna snag a mk 2 later on
trying to source the tubes for upgrade atm but yea it sounds sweet after it has warmed up man
i ran the drums in someone like u thru it
Lol, I've heard good things about the original one too. I have never played with one in person. Good compressor for it's price point?

Cheers.
at around $200 the only contenders are the vla and the FMR products-- the RNC, which wasn't for me, and the RNLA-- which is very nice. the VLA can get ballsier tho.

Its a decent enough setup... its awesome being around nature while producing/spinning records.. especially in San Diego where the weather is ALWAYS perfect....

at about 4pm everyday the sunset shines RIGHT onto my desk so I can sit, produce, and catch some sun at the same time... oh, and since I'm a single father/full-time 'distinguished' music major, I get $5,350 a semester in FREE federal financial aid, and I don't make payments on the house Iive in... Carpe Diem, right?
