Been enjoying Uncle on BBC Three if only because it makes me feel better about never seeing my nephew.

E somehow getting back with Sloan. Retarded.
Ari getting back with his wife. Retarded.
Vince stalking a girl for ages then marrying her after one date. So fucking retarded.
Really thought this was gonna be a good season from the beginning, but as usual they decided to end it with everything somehow magically turning out OK and Vince being the greatest person on earth.
I reckon the movie's gonna be retarded too.
Told ya :Q:

Ari's wife's ass in the final scene was the highlight of the season. Even the subplot with

Turtle 'suddenly' becoming a millionaire
seemed forced.
That was incredibly stupid too, seems like they tried to do about 3 seasons worth of story lines in 8 episodes. Feel like they then had to rush each storyline which gave them ridiculous and far fetched conclusions. I know I'll still watch the movie and it'll be stupid too.
[+] Spoiler
I really honestly thought there was gonna be some consequences this season - really thought E wasn't gonna get back with Sloan and I thought Ari and his wife were done, seems the show never wants to take any risks. I mean the guy who committed suicide was such a minor character who really cared?

Only legit character end was Johnny, as they'd been building the cartoon thing for a while, nothing seemed forced, and the support characters (Dice Clay, Phil Yagoda) were believable and again not FUCKING FORCED like everyone else's story.

I've just started watching 24. I thought it would be really OTT and a bit 'Murica but I'm really enjoying it, good twists in the story lines and plenty of cliffhanger endings. Ploughed through season 1 and nearly finished season 2 already!

I might give this a go again, watched the first few episodes and really didn't care what happened to any of the characters, although lots of people rave about it. The huge number of episodes is really off putting too.

It's worth a look. Tried watching them all through once, got midway through season 5 before giving up. Does get very same ol', same ol' later on.

Don't know if it's really on topic but for anyone who likes Ghibli's output (I reckon there are a few), they're gonna start a tv series late august

I think i'm just generally less critical of tv shows than most. I see a lot of people in here saying oh that show sucked at the end. But imo if you take the wire for instance, one mediocre season of the wire is still better than pretty much everything else on television, so I'd be happy if they made 4 more mediocre seasons because it's better than watching Modern Family or whatever else is on tv during the evenings.

It isn't shit, just not as good as it was in the earlier series, still consistently brilliant and still one of the best comedies around imo.

This looks great:

Yeah, Peep Show has never been shit... it's just difficult to keep anything THAT good.

Such an easy watch. Every time I was hungover last year I'd just watch shit loads of Archer or Aqua Teen Hunger Force.

Finished season 4 of Breaking Bad last night. Fuck. I think TV might've peaked.
