It's not because of paranoia for stealing people blur out numberplates, it's because it's fucking easy to get some guys address and other information by using his numberplate.
Blurring them out is a certain form of anonymity.
Guys, whatever my reasons are, it does not matter. This made me happy today. /of story. I'm sorry, you can put it in the 'things that pissed you off today' if it bothers you so much.
