£33 posted, it was "good" condition though. As long as Mud and Antiwar dub play I will be happy. Should be at home now actually.Muncey wrote:How much that set you back?Johnlenham wrote:I bought Mary Anne Hobbs - Warrior Dubz but the seller is being pretty casual about sending it.Muncey wrote:RIP dubstep

Re: What record/etc. did you just buy?
I've got the plate with Anti-War Dub on one side and Versus on the other. Some dude had lost the other 3 plates, so sold me that one for like, £6. Buzzing.

Oh yeah, defo, would've ideally had them all, was just a bit of good luck in my quest to own all of Burial's stuff on vinyl.

'Good' condition on Discogs = prepare to be very disappointed.Johnlenham wrote:£33 posted, it was "good" condition though. As long as Mud and Antiwar dub play I will be happy. Let me break down Discogs condition vs real-world condition
Mint = Mint
Near Mint = VG+
VG+ = VG
VG = Pretty bad but plays through without skipping at least
G+ = Poor
Good = Virtually unplayable
Fair = At least it's not snapped in half but only good for a frisbee
Poor = Might as well throw your money in a bin unless you like chunks missing out of your records
BLAKE01? The pressing is awful, sorryKoalaBlu wrote:James Blake - Refixes, Destiny's Child (BILLS REMIX) / Lil Wayne (A MILLIE REMIX) : HARMONIMIX

most people don't know the gradings very well (see dnr)
good probably refers to 'very good' on that scale
good probably refers to 'very good' on that scale
Re: What record/etc. did you just buy?
no point in generalizing, it's basically always a gamble. i had "mint" records, that had obviously been played before and showed light scratches and i had "vg+" records that looked and sounded like they just came straight out of the press.
Re: What record/etc. did you just buy?
I'm usually surprised when Mint comes absolutely Mint... which is why I was extra pleased when ASBO came absolutely untouched
I don't tend to go below VG+ but it all varies from buyer to buyer, I wouldn't worry Johnlenham the worst you should expect is some surface marks that aren't audible.. normally they will put if there's audible marks.
