A lot of positive comments about the sound quality from discogs comments. Sadly I don't have my turntable with me have a listen.

Does the spoken intro get annoying? Or is it only a short thing?

There is one for each side and they're about a minute long, when I played it forgot they were there so it was like a nice intro. If you plan on battering it out or ripping it then yeah I could see it getting annoying otherwise you might enjoy it (or understand the motive behind the bootleg). Either way I don't regret buying it (Would still buy an official repress though)

More annoying than knowing your money is going to someone selling knock offs with the excuse 'its a tribute'?

Jah, save us.

Why would anybody rip a bootleg? Just illegally download a rip of the proper vinyl online.. if you're willing to play a bootleg out I'm sure you have no issue playing out a downloaded wav/mp3.

The bootleg sounds good though, if you had a good setup it wouldn't be the worst idea to rip it, especially when any vinyl rips online will be from 8 year old records that have been played before

I doubt it, if the record is that sought after someones willing to bootleg it I'm sure theres decent rips floating about. I'm almost certain theres going to be a perfect WAV of Anti-War Dub floating around as its on the MAH CD.

Plus they probably used the rips online to make the bootleg anyway, just fucked with the audio a bit to make it sound fresher.

Well yeah there will be some with good quality but I doubt any of them are from a mint copy.

If the message on the record is to be believed then they probably own a copy of it, and even if they "just fucked with the audio a bit to make it sound fresher" it should sound better then anything on the internet.

Why would there only be rips from an 8 year old record though? Don't you think that someone would have ripped it in the first couple of days after it got released in 2006?
