£48m release clause, WOW.

Was hoping he'd stayed at United for another few seasons, always worry when young players go to bigger clubs and end up not performing then fall into obscurity. Hope it doesn't happen with this kid, really enjoyed watching him this season.

Celtic really should've swooped in earlier and tried to sign him.

Debuchy looks quite likely for arsenal now, lots of interesting Sanchez chat too
looking realistically:

Sanchez - £25m
Debuchy - £12m
Schneiderlin - £16m
Remy - £8m

£61m, would do the job

If you believe the Spanish papers, Liverpool and Barca both want to use Sanchez in a swap deal but he'd rather go to Arsenal. I suspect he'll end up at Liverpool though, it makes too much sense for both teams

I'd rather Sanchez goes to Arsenal than to Liverpool.

Sanchez will probably be part of the Suarez deal. No way lfc let him go without a guaranteed player coming in

If there's a clause and Barcelona decide to meet it I don't know there's much we can do.

Guilliem Balague, respected spanish journo thinks Arsenal and Sanchez have agreed provisional terms. there is a lot of noise about him preferring arsenal which could def be true.

If arsenal can meet barca valuation, looks like/ i think we'll get him, barca will use cash for straight purchase of suarez. suarez deal looks 100% likely tbh.

are u guys pleased/ relieved to see him go? most liverpool fans seem to be resigned to it happening, time to move on a reinvest i reckon.

Feeling better about Liverpool getting Sanchez given what Ballague has said tbh

I think we are a better team with Suarez and ultimately that's what it's about, that said the circus that surrounds him is a pain in the arse and I have hopes we can use the money better than Spurs did and actually strengthen.

The spurs issue is hardly with the new players tbf. They appointed a kid after having built a team around a really unusual coach and then gave the few disenfranchised players from that period a say along with the tiny little boy coach.
It's super dumb though, true.

Funny thing is Kroos will cost Madrid €25m while Adam Lallana cost Liverpool £27m.

It might be for psg instead unfortunately

Arsenal should move for Gamboa who is cheap and better imo

Not sure, the Arsenal linking looks strong - I'd rather think Aurier will end up at PSG - won't complain about it tbh :)

No way Liverpool will get £80m for Suarez or Sanchez included in the deal.

Sure thats another possibility.

I reckon psg prefer french nationals but Aurier seems a much better choice with his age and skills, for both clubs. Talks of reuniting Deb with Cabaye etc
