Agreed. Actually, I'd expand this to include quite a lot of "Live" Hip Hop... the only act I can think of that did the rock band thing right were Public Enemy about 10 years ago and even then they let Flava Flav loose on the drums for about 20 minutes at the show I saw.

heh yeah all that stuff is kind of the same. Some of the people involved are talented but it just end up sounding.. well boring.

Another really boring hip hop group, i dont know if they are still around but Slum Village.. And Common.

The first 50 or so seconds of south London boroughs is one of the greatest pieces of music imo
