I actually LOL'd at that. I wonder what y'all will say when Hudson is making beats for Rihanna next year, and the next slew of hip hop producers are making "80's throwback"

Well to be honest i like 4 tracks of the album and the other synth heavy ones im not feeling. Ill listen to good music regardless if its for rihanna or some solo beat shit. Its a hit or miss album for me, but i saw him live in glasgow last weekend and he sounded great. Just not much home listening potential methinks.

This is exactly how I feel about this album right now. Whoever wrote this off after one or two listens needs to turn the volume up a couple notches and give this another run through (it worked for me). Lovin this.

Agreed. This album made very little sense to me to begin with, love it now. One of the most interestingly unique albums I've heard for ages. Love how it sounds like a cracked out Prince directing a robot band covering TV theme tunes from the 80s

great album!! Don't see why its getting a little hate on here? Production is crazy and miles ahead of his early stuff and anyone else!!
I wanna hear Cassie and Drake on a Hud beat!!!!

My thoughts;
It took me a few listens to understand the album. Your definitely not going to get it straight away but the albums grows on you.
The production is impeccable, the elements i found most interesting is the way the album was arranged.
Im glad Hud Mo hasn't gone straight for just making a beat-based LP which would of been cliche, but he has been able to give us a glimpse of his potential!
Im also glad the album is not based for dj's, its much more of a listen at home, in the car, mp3 player album....but you can rock some of the tracks at a party & people would come up to with.. "what the fuck is that?" question!
My ratings; 4 out 5!

I'm not sure about the album yet. Listened to it a couple of times and didn't really know what to think. I'll give it another listen as it may be a grower...
