i messaged Kryptic Minds and they said as far as they know the original tracks are only for CD and digital. Remix's will be on vinyl format only

a bit gutted it's not coming out on vinyl, but copping the cd right now because i'd rather have a fucking sick album on cd than a shit vinyl triple ep, for some reason. big up km & loe on an absolutely brilliant release.

So its definitely not coming on Vinyl?

That's ridiculous.

I wont be buying the CD becuase I never listen to dubstep on my computer or in the car etc. Only time I listen to it is on radio sets and when im mixing (With vinyl). A CD to me is pointless.

The most hyped up album of the year and no vinyl. JOKE :q:

It was stated at the time that the CD came out that it would be coming on vinyl not long after.

I was chatting to Loefah on Saturday night Brum (Which he destroyed btw) and he said 100% no vinyl release for the album, and he justified it pretty well. He said there's plenty of special thing forthcoming from them though so don't worry. He also said he DOES still produce and the loefah/Burial remixes are coming out..... the burial track is apparently some kind of mega mix of the whole album!!!! now that's enough for me.... the album is very good no matter what format it is in and we won't be disappointed with any vinyl releases!

I've come to the conclusion that One of Us / Six Degrees are prob the 2 most dancefloor tracks on there, not all bad...

Not quite as vexed now lol

Seen a couple of absolutely retarded replies to this thread so I'm just going to add my balanced non-dickead reply;

CD is clearer than vinyl, but vinyl (and indeed all analogue formats) have warmth and therefore sound fatter. This is what I have had re-iterated to me over the past few weeks from a couple of degree music lecturers and is just pretty much common knowledge.

I don't want to buy this as I DJ with vinyl, and more importantly I like DJing with vinyl. I could use a CDJ but I don't want to, frankly, because I don't like using them. And they definitely sound different when being used in a vinyl set. I'd have thought that loefah, coming from the DMZ camp of thought that "vinyl has a better sound to it, dubplates etc etc." (not an accurate quote), would have done us the favour of at least releasing the vinyl version and the CD.

and LOL to whoever said get the CD and cut it to dubplate; have a little look at cutting house prices for a single sided vinyl. It's literally not worth it.

All i'm going to do is sit and hope that the remixes are somehow better, or on the same level, as these excellent songs.

of course world do not consist of djs only, but not releasing this as a vinyl pack is pretty damn retarded move anyway. album of the year being digital only? yeah, right, congrats Loefah on this wonderful idea :?

wow, the album isnt on vinyl... so shut up and buy the goddamn CD like i did!!! seriously the album is good material, filling that nice weighty halfstep void in dubstep...

i mean, i spin 99% of my stuff on vinyl, and yes it would be nice to have... but it isnt the end of the world. still a top notch production effort. still top notch weighty spacious beats. get over yourself and cop the CD. not the end of the world.
