Essential record, in my opinion. Octacon is a banger.

Big up Reso everytime!

Doubt it would have anything to do with the digital version being mastered differently, its a digital source from the start, not analog, so the vinyl and digital versions aren't usually done any differently. Do you have it on vinyl aswell and are using the same system? Because if thats the case then its just down to the way your amp is processing the vinyl (which is always going to be better from a sound card doing it)

I only have the digital copy and waveform looks good, just doesnt seem to have much bass. Even Armoured Core doesnt have as much as it should compared to other tunes

reso's tunes are weird and different and they always seem to sound strikingly different when playing a youtube clip than playing the clean sparkly wave/flac

the muddy lossy formats often give it more grunt (overall they dont sound better of course)

only ever found this with him....his production is way ahead of every other hype producer bear in mind

i suspect its just the lack of an incredible system that means the superior wav sounds less grunty

yeah, his productions are brighter than a lot of others', and not quite as bloated low end. kinda like it was mixed as a rock record instead of a super bass heavy dubstep realease. definitely not a bad thing, just sharing my thoughts. Temjin EP is big business.

Bump of appreciation. Possibly the best overall Dubstep EP I've bought. :!:

Jesus, just heard Octacon for the first time. This is quite possibly the best dubstep infused breakbeat tune I've heard in a long motherfuckin' time :o
