Re: James Blake Appreciation Thread
I really love James Blake when he isn't trying to be a singer/songwriter
Can't decide if I like the original Maybes or the James Blake remix more, they're both massive!

Re: James Blake Appreciation Thread
met the guy a couple of times, we have mutual friends as he grew up from my town in North London.
Nice dude, very unassuming and humble. wouldn't take a Jaegerbomb off me at the time as he 'doesn't drink that much'....
But yeah - good guy, good music. Didnt mind his album...

yuh james blake runnning tingz, time goes by but the tunes stay fresh.. air and lack thereof still amazes me, a real game changer and a true classic in electronic music as a whole. is it just a hoax that it was the first tune he produced??

Re: James Blake Appreciation Thread
james blake is quality. do not care about the hipster ejaculation + subsequent backlash at all, for me the man has definitely stayed consistent since air and lack thereof. only thing i didn't really like was the bon iver collab but thats just cause i don't like bon iver.
this is criminally overlooked though:

only looked at the last few posts of the page.
i'm glad you like it as much as me though. no one ever seems to sparing the horses any love (unlike air and lackthereof). order/pan are really underrated too imo
