theres still loads of mind blowing stuff coming out all the time, its just a shame that it's overlooked by the large percentage of people who think 'dub' is just filthy wobbles, i do have a soft spot for dirtyness and wobbles but i dont think these people are even aware of the other end of the dubstep spectrum existing
no offence, but if you like dirty wobbles, you can't really go bashing on people for liking mt eden
its all as shit as each other, mt eden is only taking all the stick because he happens to be the biggest wobble king atm
I agree with particle-jim, i like a banger that has been done well or an 'intelligent banger' but all these people that put shit on YouTube are just creating noise.
And Mt. Eden definately isn't the wobble king, he is the YouTubestep King!
The thing that pisses me off is that it scares away people that actually like well-produced music. I was talking to my friend about dubstep the other day, and he told me that he looked some up and really didn't like it. It took excactly one guess to figure out what he'd listened to.

i dont like half the music around nowadays... but people dig it & thats what matters i suppose! over half that cats saying how shit his productions are... couldnt produce themselves out of a gas chamber!! anyways mt eden is a suburb in auckland.. they have a HUGE prison thea & whenever i hear mt eden it makes me think of that! seems he is doing festivals & shit now.. so maybe his shit has been getting produced proper.

Hackman speaks the truth, I no longer say to people that i like/ dj dubstep, people either think im a jumped up little yout, or try and talk to me about mt. eden, datsik, funtcase etc etc. I just say I dj garage and they leave me alone
