Watz up
went to this on friday and it was my first time at a dubstep rave and at the mass.....
I was suprised when i saw the big church and then went up the winding steps and as ur go up each level u start the hear and feel the bass.... I know it sounds cheesy but that was pretty cool.....
Anyway had a great night and to hear tracks that iv only heard on utube or on podcasts or downloaded mixes loud on a big system it was so much better..... Tracks that i thought were ok where much better when heard loud on a system.....
Anyway friday night inspired me to change my beatz making style and made me realise when making beatz its better to use monitors so u can feel the bass and imagine wat would sound good loud rather than just through my headphone.....
And the next day i wrote two tracks that were probable the best tracks iv done and much more focused on the bass line....
It would hav been cool to meet some of u on here since i went on my jack jones but i still enjoyed the night.....
Is anyone going to the vagabondz vs getdarker event....
Sorry for long post but friday night also inspired me to join this forum and post after browsing for last few months....
Respect

LD = wicked as always
Kode9 = never was a fan of 2step or whatever that carnival shit was so went outside for blaze
DMZ 2 hour sesh - pretty much what I came down from bristol for - Coki's tunes are always BIG
Kryptic Minds - soothing
overall is was a nice fix, not sure what happened to distance, was he supposed to play? Remember the first time I came down in oct or nov '06 pre-smoking ban when the bouncers were SAFE & let you go outside to mcdonalds to refuel or the skagpit pikey burger cart just outside for a cup of tea (what happened to that place), now they don't let you leave the club without not being able to go back in? what's that about?!

Have to agree with that ^^^
Dmz was definantly the highlight of the night and i noticed every time coki stepped forward to drop a tune i could sense everyone was waiting to see wat he would drop and every thing he played got the best crowd reation...I also enjoyed kryptic minds as well even though it wasn't as packed when he played but he is one of the people that has got me into this music

MOTHERFUCKERS STOLE LOFEAH FOR MY BIRTHDAY
haha was at superdub in brighton, ntype and lofeah headlining.
N-type played at 12.00 and dropped tree trunk pretty early in his set, i sparked a cheeky one but got kicked out just before it dropped, managed to get back in just as he was finishing, lofeah meant to be playing at 1.00, and then i find out you london pricks stole him
still saw adison groove and oneman so wasnt too bad

It probably won't be busy enough for you to have a sneaky one tonight.
it wasnt but we managed a cheeky one.

Were you by the speakers at the bar side of the room? If so, it smelled cro!
nah i was by the other back speaker. was when kryptic minds were playing, otherwise i went outside for a smoke.

Someone was farting like mad at the left speaker earlier in the night.

Here are some fairly poor photos I took, not worked out settings on my phone yet! Was too busy going mad to take any pictures during the Digital Mystikz + Loefah set.
