Agreed. You can't better the original. This is a more hyped, crowd pleaser version. Less is more with the synth line.

spoke to mala as i was leaving DMZ on 7th nov...i was practically begging him to release the VIP and he said there was 1% chance of him releasing it...he also said that he still listens to the original so...


the impression i got from what he said was either three things


1. he feels the original is better

2. he feels if he released the VIP the original would then get overlooked

3. he wants to keep the VIP so that he can drop it as like a secret weapon type thing





i still don't understand how the he managed to make the original so mellow and the VIP so hype...when he played the original...then wheeled and played the VIP at DMZ i swear my eyes rolled into the back of my head hahaha

Option number 3 for sure. Imo Vip's shouldn't be released, I feel that they are for the producer and producer only. Any way original mellow? you mad!
