Would membership solve some of these woes? A lot of the club nights I used to go to had a membership and then you had a member and non members queue. If thats not a goer what about selling tickets via the forum (pay by PayPal) to at least give priority to regulars and forum heads.
I used to go more regularly when you could just rock up at midnight and not queue now if you turn up at midnight you might queue for an hour. I even turned up at 1am not so long ago and there was a ridikulus queue!
If we could buy a ticket in advance (like when FWD was at The End) then we could rock up when we wanted...?
I want to go this week so I'm aiming on being in that queue EARLY!!

starboard! you get a huge wall of speakers to gently wash you with bass and a nice little ledge to sit on when you want to bill up. it's the gentleman's choice.
