all this "we're going to overthrow the status quo" hilarity is amazing. no really....go on and waste more of your brain power and energy, instead of doing something creative, or something to better yourselves. life is fucking short, and coming to DSF just to raise your own blood pressure, and the stress level of others is like one big revolving door of stupidity.

Secret Ninja Hideout is an off-topic forum. If people were spill into the main forum, I would agree. If you look at the top left of this page, you will see that it says "dubstepforum.com worldwide dubstep community" Does that mean we can't decide the topics we wish to discuss? It is human nature to not agree with everyone, also to argue. Do we stop being human for the sake of dubstepforum? I believe that debate is healthy and essential to progress... i.e. parliment... congress.. etc. I agree that somethings could have been taken lighter, but I don't believe in compromise at the cost of compromising one's own beliefs. Every so often, some one like you, attempts to post and be the voice of reason. But if you were in my shoes, and taking constant abuse for standing up for your faith and morals, you might be singing a different song.seckle wrote:the amount of psychological pathology going on in these last 3 pages is astonishing. some of you TRULY need to turn off the computer, and go outside and breathe in fresh air, and get a firm grip on what you come to this site for. contrary to what some of you seem to think, the world doesn't revolve around the viewpoint of a group of self proclaimed internet badmen hiding behind screens, and aliases. this site still is a community of people, in the 10's of thousands that come for the music, and the two dozen or so that come here to continually flame the fires, insult each other, troll discussions, and generally act like a bunch of kids in the playground, doesn't change the reason why the site was built for one fucking second. its to the point lately, that some of you want to be banned to make yourselves feel bigger and better. think about how ridiculous that is in and of itself. its sort of the grand prize for idiocy.

this site is a place for music. music first, everything else second. if your faith is being tested on the internet, then you should be big enough to realize that its....the internet. this site is global, as you said, and with the global internet comes a certain degree of chaos, but also a lot of wisdom filtered through it. if you're willing to present a topic for debate on the internet, you should be ready for the consequences, or at least be humble enough to realize that your thinking could be wrong, or flawed. being patriotic, nationalistic or faithful to your cause, doesn't mean you have to be like a giant stone in the road. being that stone, doesn't make you more patriotic, it just makes you non-compromising, which in the end stifles discussion.treble hertz wrote:Secret Ninja Hideout is an off-topic forum. I'm not compromising to unjust banter. Do you expect people to say "bass hertz is a fucking racist hick"; and I compromise with that!? If more people were able to calmly discuss an issue, the way you do, I wouldn't have a problem. I think for the most part, we have all figured out the result of ANY political or religious hot-topics, are going to end the same. So many posters who can't convey their point, easily resort to calling me names. I just want people to realize that what they accuse me of being guilty of; they are doing exactly the same thing to me. The proof is everywhere.seckle wrote:this site is a place for music. music first, everything else second. if your faith is being tested on the internet, then you should be big enough to realize that its....the internet. this site is global, as you said, and with the global internet comes a certain degree of chaos, but also a lot of wisdom filtered through it. if you're willing to present a topic for debate on the internet, you should be ready for the consequences, or at least be humble enough to realize that your thinking could be wrong, or flawed. being patriotic, nationalistic or faithful to your cause, doesn't mean you have to be like a giant stone in the road. being that stone, doesn't make you more patriotic, it just makes you non-compromising, which in the end stifles discussion.treble hertz wrote:Secret Ninja Hideout is an off-topic forum. moderators are not supposed to sit here and squash fires all day long and take shots from people. as with any human being, if you push them 15 feet, they'll push you back 15 feet. badger is here to help this place function, and judging by the sheer amount of net bullshit he's had to face in the last week from a pack of people in here, i'm sure he's as fedup with it as everyone else is. you can support or encourage any change you want, but the reality is that this place has functioned and grown for 5 years now with the same basic core principles, and i don't see that changing anytime soon.alien pimp wrote:chill man, you got it all wrong againseckle wrote:the amount of psychological pathology going on in these last 3 pages is astonishing. some of you TRULY need to turn off the computer, and go outside and breathe in fresh air, and get a firm grip on what you come to this site for. contrary to what some of you seem to think, the world doesn't revolve around the viewpoint of a group of self proclaimed internet badmen hiding behind screens, and aliases. this site still is a community of people, in the 10's of thousands, and the two dozen or so that come here to continually flame the fires, insult each other, troll discussions, and generally act like a bunch of kids in the playground, doesn't change the reason why the site was built for one fucking second. its to the point lately, that some of you want to be banned to make yourselves feel bigger and better. think about how ridiculous that is in and of itself. its sort of the grand prize for idiocy.

i think who gets his blood pressure and stress levels raised by snh is retarded, and you don't seem very calm right now. but i'm in the "it's just a forum" camp, contrary to the flaming mod that thinks the ww3 will start on snh if he doesn't lock some funny threads
so what if i support the idea that changing badger would improve things here in the way you want?!
what dsf does with this idea is its problem, its decision and it will live by it. i'll be happy either way, just think it's correct to stand by this proposal and show the reasons for it
