Thanks pkay. Had reduced myself to the big bang theory. Times have been rough!

Archer is one of my favourite shows atm. I'm up to date with them though, hence big bang theory and this thread revival.

ouch that sucks

i watch about 3-4 hours worth of tv a day while at work (modeling and effects is rather tedious and a distrcation is needed). Hulu is great... hopefully hulu gets you sorted soon

"Hulu was planning on launching in the U.K. and Ireland in September 2009, but as of April 2010 these had been abandoned for the foreseeable future after failure to sign any content deals."

i started watching 24 again and im really enjoying it. I think i stopped watching it a few years ago because its pretty much the favorite tv show of the republican party and justification for the american war machine. still, its a unique, fast paced show, maybe the most intense show i've ever seen.

i thought 24 did a pretty good job of showing the evil of politics, especially in the later seasons.

bauers always right... if bauer tortures someone then there is definately a legitimate reason (in bauers infallible mind anyway) and it normally saves the world (ammmurrrikkkaaaaaaaaaa), stops war or outs some businessman whos financing the whole thing (conspiracy?!?).

If everyone in 24 did exactly as bauer says at all times then everything would work out gravy

24 is great.

You should watch The American Office from start to finish. It's pure jokes (and always gets overlooked by British Audiences since we love the original so much <3 )

I wish there was more than just a handful of episodes :(
My favourite bit from the entire show has to be when Manny makes the solid soup tower :D

24 is great.

I think what makes 24 genius is that it shows how america justifies everything... but it also sets up for the terrorists justifying their actions. The actions of Jack Bauer justify terrorists.
