i think so, to a certain extent.

the relations between people get clear to me when i'm stoned, aswell as people underneath.
i notice how insecure some people are, and how little much some others.
i've started to appreaciate certain people more when smoking, and started to feel less insecure about myself towards certain others.
if that does make any sense

I guess it comes down to what state you believe your mind to be in when sober. I believe reality is presented more purely when sober like when you wake up (as in literally waking up) not when you're fucked. I understand that you feel certain substances open up a hidden perception that reveals truths you could not previously see, I am aware of that. I just think it's nonsense and I think most trained medical prefessionals and biologists would agree..

I think OBEs come from your brain, probably the penial gland, like random/accidental releases of chemicals. Though I don't know much on the topic. And I don't think I've had one. I nearly died once, but I was more concerned with trying to not drown than anything else.

ok, fair enough, I was just addressing your point that drugs can induce OBE when I feel drugs help induce the multi-sensory hallucination that people consider an OBE..
