you dont really need light for the first night, but coal can be found usually in the natural open-ended crevices next to mountains... look for tall hills with chunks missing out of them
if all else fails just keep loading saves, youll eventually find the motherload

thanks mate, found some!
sick game, I just find it stupid that I can run garrys mod at the highest resolution but I had to edit my registry to make minecraft work at playable framerates..
As soon as I get money I will be scrapping my cracked version and supporting the developers for sure.

yeh, it's only like ten euro, definitely worth it...
and minecraft eats up CPU because the world that it generates is so massive, literally impossible to walk across, and its running all the physics/animals/creatures at once, which half explains the shitty 8bit graphics

I kinda like the graphics.. I feel if it had next-gen detail it would take the fun away..

all about the Quandary packs... it's got this thing where it rotates through the 12 rotations (each is themed after a month of the year) every day.

So I play on peaceful right? And I build this portal to hell, explore a bit and come back.
And I'm in a small ass room underground. then, I ladder back to the surface, and I can't find my spawn. I had lost my compass dying twice while I was mining obsidian to make the damn portal.
Thank you Minecraft, you are now the second game ever to make me ragequit.

I've not been excited by gaming for like, 5/6 years... played about 9 hours of the demo over the weekend, and got it tonight. To hell with Uni coursework, I'm diggin'!
