				@rubiconguava - well I hate to say it but the rainy intro is so stereotypical, but then again what isn't. your use of reverb and delay is pretty awesome though on the intro part. If I had any weed I would blaze to this for sure though. great mood and atmosphere. I kinda wish more was going on in the intro to keep me interested, I think it goes on too long but I could be wrong. But really this is a great track thus far. I have no complaints about the mix-down but I would watch you levels cus I think that sub is hitting a little hard(clipping a little) sometimes.
@Albo - Man this is pretty slick my roommate heard it down the hallway and said he liked it so thats good news for you! I def dig that sped up break or whatever that comes small in sections. I think that some of the instruments arn't sitting in the track well enough yet ie needs some reverb etc to help fill it out. maybe a little more smack on the snare as well. Overall funky song and vibes I like!
@ninthy4 - Overall pretty solid I think the intro is too long for this kind of a blaster tune though, try condensing it a little bit. drop works but I find it a little lackluster.Great drums though really smack! BUt yea I think you could cut out a lot of that ambiance in the beginning cus it kinda drones on too long I think. Great noises too btw

@DUbzilla slaps - Not gonna lie I hate pitched up vocals. That aside I do like Damian Marley I think you have a good mix-down. Track needs a sub boost though its sittin a little low in the mix. Your snare could use a little boost I think to make it stand out. I feel like this track needs more variation, as it starts getting a little dull. even some new bass sounds or a different drum variation or something to keep it going would be great.
Here is my latest revision to my current project, mix-down is not 100% and not everything is quite correct but I made a ton of changes and I think its bumpin now. all feedback returned!

				@ lorbid - nice work pimp, keep it up. you get that vst is sent ya?
@ trafficks - that pokemon track made me confused. in a good way. so many different styles an ideas out there.... keep up the work!!
@ gonzodj - jelly5 made me want to eat acid... chaotic in a good way!
@ albo - very, jazzy. kinda like a porn score. make them panties drop.
@ wabble - very trancy dub. the vocoder on the vocal sample stood out to me.
check the sig DSF

				wabble: Nice beat and the vocals are very well used. The panning of the bass works very well, makes the mix very special together with those drums. Good track! Can see this in a set.
wednesday: I like the intro but the beat is a little too glitchy for me. Not really a fan of the dissonant bass (would prefer a more Burial style dark bassline... this is too happy!) and the distorted parts are too strong in the high freqs. The track is pretty cool though. Reminds me of some Amon Tobin stuff.
Both of you should give feedback btw! Otherwise people won't comment... I was nice this time though but would probably have given a more elaborate review if you had posted some feedback of your own.
 LordBid
LordBid: I've commented on an early version of this and the slappy drums I like are still there! Good job. Mix is much better I think. Great intro. Would still love some kind of melody, melodic breakdown or maybe change of pace. Do I dare to say refrain? Eventhough the bass is very remindable actually (still in my head after I finished listening) I would like another element somewhere at least to make it more interesting, but with the focus remaining on the bass nevertheless. Anyway, the foundation is solid and I can imagine this would be heavy on a system!
New tune I'm working on:

				@Grok:
Good job! everything sounds clean... if anything, i'd remove a little of the synth's reverb to make it pump harder on the speakers. maybe fill it up with some incidentals here and there, but ur work is veeery solid as it is! drums are sounding reaaaally good and the mix sounds proper.
@ninthy4
dope!!! very clean drums, i like it. i thought the intro leading to the breakbeat was a little long, but it's nice. the first synth that hits after the drop is a little ditorted. i dunno if u intend it to sound like that, but i'd use some cleaner distortion. i just think it would fit better.... the whole mix sounds good though, all the instruments are at a good level, good work!
@ albo
that's funky, man... i reaaaally like that bass in the beginning. for the drop, i'd work a bit more on the break chops... i would try putting some more reverb on it so it stays in the background more, but if it doesn't work, i'd put it to the way it is now, but with the different chops.
@Dubzilla
dude what do u need feedback with? the tune's dope!!!
this is my work.. let me know what u guys think...

				grok: i did post some feedback but i'll keep that in mind. sorry, i'm new. anyway thanks, i know i need to work on the mixing. i got frustrated cause when i'd normalize the track when exporting the audio, it'd always come out super quiet, so i just threw a limiter on the master track to maximize the volume but it comes out super muddy. any other tips?
about your track: i like the contrast in the intro with the plucky and softer leads. i just think there's a little too much empty space in the drop and also throughout the latter part of the song. it slows down the movement and becomes repetitive. i think it sounds better towards the end when you start filling up the space some.
mars: super fat! the sub in the intro needs to either be raised or cut out...its somewhere weird in between. i think it'd sound better without it. besides that one part, the bass sounds awesome, if not a little repetitive. maybe work a little bit on movement or panning to mix it up? also, the snare falls flat. put some treble boost on it or maybe transpose it up a little? it just sorta gets lost. and the double time drums in the third part don't work for me either...

				This is a rough sketch of what I'm working on right now. First time using Ableton (which I love SO much more than reason, but they're fucking awesome together as well), and I haven't put any time into a mixdown really, but I'd like to hear what yall think so far.

 Just kidding, I'll give feedback in 30 mins when I get back from dinner. Just wanted to put this up in the meantime.
EDIT:
@Wednesday: Fuckin awesome tune man. Didn't check if theres a download button or not but if there is I'll be pressing it. No constructive criticism from my end, sadly. Sounds like it's finished to me.

 Good shit, very good shit.
@LordBid: It's coming along pretty good, but I think it sound's a bit flat. Some samples could help that, or just the right EQ boost in the right place. I like the idea, just sounds like theres a hole in the frequency spectrum (but then again I guess I shouldn't be one to talk).
@Grok: Dope! Only advice would be to bring in the melody (that comes through in the second half of the song) after 4 wobzzzz after the drop. Those wobs without melody are sick right after the drop, but I don't think that effect should be sustained as long as your are sustaining it. Bring in the melody sooner and it'll be crackiiiiiiiiiin!

				Wednesday, very nice sample. sort of ESKMO'esque with the delay on the keys or whatever they are

 nice job anyhow.
Jimbeux, that bass is massive! one thing though.... make it longer!

Grok, the intro was really atmospheric. loved it. the bass was nice. liked the reggae keys that came in later.
This is a little two-steppy type beat im working on. just started it about 20 minutes ago and i dont usually make tracks like this so be gentle

				Weedcali: Again mate, this is sick! Very modeselektor - who in my eyes, are the kings of beats like that. So I can't pay it any higher compliment.
Mars: Love it when it drops! Really nice. All i's say is those drums really dont cut it. Not the pattern or anything, just get them to come through. Drums and bass is what is needed. Maybe boost some high mids at like 8khz?

Here's a cheecky little number I've been working on anyway. DONT take it seriously

				@Grok - Like what you have going for sure. I think however that your beat is a little static sounding. I think this tune would benefit from some drum fills or switch-ups more often to give it some energy. Right now those pauses kinda of make it lose energy without some some variation to make it better. Obviously it is a work in progress and I like that synth melody that goes on in the background and so far the mix-down sounds pretty good. Sounds like the mix needs some sub in thar though!
@blazinaidan -tune seems to be down
