Pfft, I'm guessing you had no witty response to contribute to the combo, or else you would have ignored my comment, quoted Fused's post, and continued the chain

OHHHHH, so you get to classify what "real" dubstep is? I guess your saying brostep isn't dubstep, even though 90% of the views on Youtube are from "brostep".
The reason why "brostep" has become mainstream, is because it actually appeals to a larger majority of people, not like your "real" dubstep. I can honestly say I like some of the people you put up as examples. but just because you don't like a type of music and it has become mainsteam, I see no reason you should complain about it so much?

brostep isn't even a real term
i can't help but to crease whenever someone uses it in a sentence!
no one gets to decide what's "real" dubstep, it means something different to everyone

Well im 16 and i produce and listen to "real dubstep" my fav artists are Loefah, James Blake, Ramadanman/Pearsonsound, Skream, Coki, Burial, Goth Trad, and the like. I live in canada so dubstep hardly exists here, and what does exist is SKRILLECKS Y0000. so i just keep to myself and my little crate of records

Lol, being registered to DSF isn't some sort of confirmation that you liked dubstep. My mates brother was playing El-B tracks to me and my mate when I was about 10/11. I liked it before it was even dubstep. I didn't join DSF till the end of last year though, I was content just reading it.

You're totally right. I had been listening to dubstep for well over a year I think before I even thought about looking for any communities dedicated to the genre.
