I seen a couple UFO's but not sure they were aliens. I believe the government may be making these advanced aircraft and covering it with the idea of 'aliens'. As far as ghosts, I don't believe in them but I do believe in God, Satan, angels, and demons...and any 'ghosts' are usually demons.

Quick reply 'cos am in a rush and was supposed to leave twenty minutes ago.
1] Aliens, hell yeah. Space is big.
2] Ghosts... well I have posted my thoughts on that before including two daft little anecdotes. I don't believe in them but two things have happened to me which I can only explain as 'ghosts'. Am not saying they were, simply saying I don't know WTF it was but it scared the shit out of me... also my parents sometimes talk about something that happened to them when they were my age and my dad is a man of science (doc in mental health), and even he says he doesn't think it was 'human'.
Really haven't made my mind up about ghosties even though everything in my brain tells me it is ridiculous and I may as well believe in the notion of a Christian god.

But to believe in God and all that surely you believe in the Holy Ghost / Spirit? Also you say that you don't believe in ghosts but then finally say ghosts are usually demons? I don't understand where you're going.

Let 'em be mate, don't see how it effects you to be honest.
I don't see how it effects me either. But it's a thread about ghosts, and I posted my opinion on ghosts...
I've never so many wise-asses as I have in the SNH, shits hilarious.

The 'Holy Ghost/Spirit' isn't actually referring to a ghost. And what I meant about the ghosts/demons thing is that when people have their experiences and whatnot, I believe its a demon, not a ghost...but thats my own thought.

ic
read up about the power of our mind.
you`ll realize that a lot of what people consider ghosts is actually manifestations of our mind.
pictures flying off of walls, etc.

How can you be so absolutely sure they aren't?
How can you be so absolutely sure were not living in the matrix?
Two equally valid/sensible questions there.
Big fan of simulation theory. Not because I believe its true, but because it raises important questions about what reality is.
Due to the advancement of bionic/artificial senses that use the ability to 'feed' the brain information humans can now create the matrix; if a newly-born child had it's senses replaced with artificial ones, had it's motor neurones disconnected from it's spinal cord and had the relevant brain areas monitored for movement, then if it was all linked to a digital simulation program then that child would grow up without ever noticing.

Yeah, pretty much the only sensible response to something like this.
I don't care that I can't know for sure, ghosts aren't fucking real. There's a whole lot of ridiculous shit people could make up that can't be dis-proven, because the concept is so retarded in the first place, it doesn't add any integrity to the claim they are real.
I realise people have seen weird shit, but that's all it is. Either weird shit is happening, or what they think they're seeing is not right. Not spooky ghosts.

not enough green aliens or ghosts with sheets over their heads nowadays
I believe in both, even as a logical thinker and huge pessimist.
The universe is just too vast for there not to be other life but I don't think they are how we depict them and I don't think they have the intelligence or energy resources to visit us or make contact.
I also believe in ghosts, not in a supernatural sense but a scientific one. I think it is just energy manifesting itself and effecting how we perceive things.

If that was aimed at me you'll have to disprove me before I prove you retarded I can write up an academically-referenced piece reviewing the current state of artificial sensory systems... though I should have probably have quantified my previous post as 'it's a distinct possibility as the technology exists to do do'.
The only real hurdle is keeping people alive in a simulated reality but given that people can live in vegetative state for years this might not be so impossible

Don't believe in them, but I have seen something I could only explain as a ghost at the time and since. Person next to me saw it as well... weirdest thing was, we then heard about lots of people having a similar experience on the same stretch of road. Properly odd. I've never been able to explain it.... we ran someone over... I mean, properly ran someone the fuck over... we both screamed, I slammed on the brakes and we clearly hit them, but they had vanished by the time the car stopped and I jumped out.

wasn't gonna bother posting in this thread, but this video seems relevant for here for anyone interested.
New video from David Wilcock .Briefly Covers a variety of things; some stuff that has been covered before by himself and countless others but also mentions some 'newer' stuff too and high-lights the links between.
remote viewing
hypnotism
electro-magnetism
space-time
matter
energy
pineal-gland
DMT (they don't call it the 'spirit' molecule for nothing)
astral projection /astral body
ancient civilizations ('aliens?')
art
equinox
the source-field
quantum physics
the first section picks up kind of slow but there is some interesting info throughout. absorb what you will.
And faust , if we have the intelligence and energy resources to leave our own planet , why would 'aliens' theoretically have the potential for that same ability, either at the same or at an advanced level?

We only have a very basic knowledge of space travel ourselves and I think Earth does not harness the natural resources we would need to travel distances far enough to find other 'intelligent' life or habitable planet. We would probably have to use all of earths current resources and use them in a way that reduces and economises to allow them to be light enough to launch and sustain life over long periods of exploration.
If there is intelligent life out there that have found a means of intergalactic travel they probably aren't interested in Earth.
