I don't really even need to know how to make it, just need to know the name of the sound so i can look up a tut.
It's doing the arpeggio and comes in at 0:29
Hello there Dubstep Forum! I was wondering if anyone can point me in the direction of how to make this synth sound It starts at the drop 00:27/00:28 It almost sounds like flux pavillion or doctor p, but has some more class to it imo.
It's the plucked synth sound i'm after, it sounds amazing, i reminds me a lot of all those old trance records but i can't remember which ones at the mo :S
it sounds quite simple, maybe just some saw waves, a lot of delay and a filter possibly lowpass.
I'm having real difficulty making anything similar though, i'm using massive.
Anybody got any thoughts ?

the screechy bass, sounds more like an envelope and not an lfo on the wobble, and i know it needs layering but ive tried ages and just cant get this style of wobble ..
Hi i would like to know how to create this in massive
i want to recreate this synth along with the roksonix synth and dream timr.
Thanks

Hey, a little help with the chord stabs that are throughout the song.
And also the pads in this:
Thanks!
Anyone ? :/
For the second one, If you have massive, use the color waveshape with a long release on the amplitude envelope, lots of reverb , some very light distortion, and a bit of EQ.

Ok thanks, don't use massive but could give it a look. Just been giving it a shot in Thor and it's not sounding quite right

Not sure about how to exactly get it (he uses massive for the most part, not reason). However I have made similar sounds (key word here similar-> the sounds I've come up with don't sound nearly as good). Spent a few minutes trying to transpose the melody and couldnt come up with it. Take one of reason's synths. Try maybe malstorm's saw wave and add some tape or tube distortion. Turn the body on, and the reso and scale almost to 0, with the auto up about 3/4ths. Add on a bit of reverb (just a bit) and then some really light unison with the detune and dry wet way down, only 3 voices. Then add on a vocoder. Set it to equalizer mode and turn it to 16 bands. Turn the shift up a bit. then add on a bit more light distortion. This doesn't sound exactly like it but it should get you in the general vicinity. Hope this helps.

Don't know if this a sample or a synth but I hear the same technique in diff tracks by diff artists. Sounds like a motor starting up or somethin'. Appears in this Coki track below but I'll try and see if I can dig up other examples
At 2:07 after the main bassline riff
Even if it is a sample, how could I synthesis that gritty, rung ladder sort of feel if you get me? I'm thinking a ramp LFO or shaped envelope on the filter/amplitude but I can't get it sounding similar.
Another example even tho I truely fucking hate the track in question, 1:00;
