Haven't bought a coat in years. Current one is a Regatta waterproof I found at a Duran Duran concert. Does the job, a little short on the arms but nothing major. Before that it was a CragHopper mountaineering coat that my mate handed me at a bar in Bournemouth during my student days as we were leaving - I was so pissed at the time that I didn't realise I didn't come out with a coat until the next morning.

Im not bothered about being judged, if you dress fashionably you people that judge you are always a set of losers anyway. Expensive and fashionable clothes = style and thats a big factor of how people perceive you, its been that way for hundreds of years. So back on topic, yeah id rather pay for an expensive coat and know its going to last rather than have some 'i dont care what people think about me' principle and look like shit in some tatty rag.

Tbh, if you don't "get it" with fashion, then lucky you... you'll have more spare cash to spend on alcohol and heroin so you can imagine your wife's wearing Agent Provocateur on Christmas Eve instead of the hemp girdle your Aunt knitted her.
haha nice. i'm personally of the spend fuck all on clothes but care mildly about what i look like camp but to each their own
all that aside, gwa is a massive hipster so judge away

J Crew had a pretty shit fashion week IMO. Only think I was remotely interested in were their suits that seem to be adopting a more American style to them. Shame they're transitioned into very much a street wear type brand.

Instead of laughing, take a look at what they're putting out these days. There's for sure been a shift in the demographic they try to market to
