Vinyl sales went up almost 40% in 2011brasco wrote:if people have a problem with the product, how about just going back to your retailer and speaking with them??
You don't need to come onto a global forum and slag it off for all to see. no wonder vinyl is dying.... it takes a lot of time and effort to press a release, sometimes it goes wrong and there are mistakes. why bother at all eh?
the immaturity of some people on here beggars belief

I'm sure if your copy sounded like mine (and others) you wouldn't be categorizing your discontent as "whining."RightOnTime27 wrote:yeah mine sounds good...cornbreadddd kinda has a rep for whining
But obviously others are having the same issue with this release as I am. I literally laughed out loud when someone above wrote "no wonder vinyl is dying." As if expressing discontent with the quality of a release is the reason that the vinyl scene is dying (which it isn't at all, vinyl scene is still quite lively, sales increasing by the month). If anything is going to kill the vinyl scene it's people releasing poorly pressed vinyls.
All I'm saying is that, I know good and damn well, that what I'm hearing when I play this vinyl, isn't how it's supposed to sound. I see that a couple other people are also having this issue, quite frustrating honestly.

yeaa, even on my hifi system it sounds way to harsh, its meant to be dancefloor bangers not vibey buring tunes, if you kno what im sayingPulp wrote:I was playing this EP round a friends who has some expensive B&W floorstanders and a nice fat subwoofer, and compared to the rest of my collection, the mids and highs are very harsh, not so much on Tree Trunk though.
