I make music under a few different names.
GV1 was taken from my original name "Guvna" which is also a shorter version of "Governor".
One of the names I rap under is "Jack G Ripper". Jack because my first name is James (Jack can also mean James). G because thats the start of the name I've had for years "GV1" and Ripper because I actually enjoy reading "Jack the Ripper" stuff. A twisted dude. The stuff I spit about is twisted and very evil. Necro type of stuff.
I was coming up with a new name recently. I am a geek/nerd w/e. I deal with assembly language when I reverse engineer stuff so I'm a geeky type of person at heart, although I look like a chav on the outside. A few of the names I actually came up with were:
* BinaryChav (Binary and Chav)
* Base2 (Base two number system ... i.e. Binary)
* Stack Frame of Mind (Stack frame is where methods and functions are stored in memory during program execution)
Be clever and smart about your name. Take your time. Make it personal
