Kansas City. I think Bassnectar rolled through a while ago, but other than that I have yet to meet anybody
FSTZ and rogue dubs is out of KC.... Given how small a city KC is its not a bad scene. St Louis isn't too far away and is pretty decent as far as big artist rotation.

OP: I hear ya, I don't talk about dubstep in public with people because as soon as I say the name, all i hear is Flux Pavilion this or Cookie monsta that..its usually not worth my time to talk music with people. I have a few friends I can talk music with on a serious level and its really really great, and at least everyone else is having a great time enjoying dubstep even if they keep it on a superficial level.
Ya'll should move to Denver. We have so much fucking dubstep its getting annoying..and I love dubstep

Def has taken over lately..
Looking forward to hearing Noah D and Pinch on a Funktion 1 system

i live in cinci too, while there are a few dj's here that have a good taste in music (like kaiten for example)
the vast majority by far is pretty awful..
it is discouraging that people who make/play music like this get lots of paid gigs
Soundcloud
and I am making tunes like this and barely play out at all...

The Glitch Mob are one of the tightest live acts I've ever seen. And they actually have groove.
