So cool that even Metallica can write a good about it.

I love all this deep sea monster stuff. Anyone played Tomb Raider Underworld? The giant squid in that made me shit myself.

fuck cthulhus

...a dolphin
to experience it's mind
& understand why they returned to the sea
after being terrestrial mammals earlier on
plus
they are the best surfers

They're often around when I'm surfing.
A couple of times we've shared waves.
As they skim underwater, just ahead of me
they roll onto their backs & look up, grinning.

Do you know why your ancestors left the trees or the sea? :6:

I'd love to experience another animal's consciousness. I wonder if you'd be able to remember to change yourself back.

A good choice.
Sibling of Cerberus and offspring to Typhon, the father of all monsters who struck fear into the hearts of the Gods themselves.

Got done by Heracles though.

OK, just seemed a strangely sincere comment when you're talking about switching minds/consciousness with a dolphin... For what it's worth, no, I don't think you would.

It seemed the logical progression of thought; hypotheticals sometimes lead to some interesting thought experiments and I just thought it might make for a good tangent on the conversation.

I don't think you'd be able to either, but guess with a dolphin or whale you have more chance than with a seaslug. I doubt there are many animals in the world that can even comprehend the idea of living as another... if you woke up in a species-changing-machine tomorrow morning as a fox, you'd most likely just wander off, find some food and never even contemplate returning to the machine.

Which means CBBC were lying about this dog. :(

I've assumed, up till now, that a bunch returned to the ocean to escape predators
who must've been pretty horrendous, given what was in the ocean at the time.
...or maybe they browsed on some green & got the munchies for calamari.

& I wonder if being an invertebrate would be stress free.
